Organizations can become traumatized either from an event (like the death of a client or a leader’s abuse of power) or from the traumatizing nature of their ongoing work (social work, healthcare, first responders). Helping traumatized organizations heal and access their resiliency is a passion and specialization for Sarah and it goes far beyond asking staff to practice good self-care. Sarah works with leadership teams and organizations to make a useful connection between trauma and workplace culture and to support and name next steps for healing, growth, and stability.
